This recipe is from my friend, Joy (https://joyleighphotography.com). This is her “go-to” chili recipe. She makes it all the time and her kids gobble it up! I decided to give it a try, and we both LOVED it! SO easy! It takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish. We ate this two days in a row and enjoyed it both times! It might have actually tasted better the next day after the flavors had time to meld together. All you need is a big hunk of cornbread and dinner is ready in a flash!
Make sure to use a spaghetti sauce that you really enjoy since it is the base for the chili. I used a packet of French’s Chili-O seasoning. It is my favorite chili seasoning. We served the chili with some cooked rice and topped it with sour cream and Fritos. Our standard. Joy likes to serve the chili over fresh cooked French fries and top it with tons of yummy cheese. I’m totally doing that next time!
